Boneless "Wings" from Quaker Steak

One of the things I like most about living in the Colerain area is that there are so many restaurants I haven't visited yet! I've been here for well over a year and still find new places!

Next up for me was Quaker Steak & Lube - it's tucked away behind Meier in this odd little circular cove. I swear the designer of this road had to have been completely ham-jammed when he built this path! The only way to know it's there is if you see it from 275.

How long has it been since I drank out of a bendy straw???

These guys take the racing vibe to the hilt with very large motorcycles hanging over you at every table, booth and bar stool.

I have no idea why - but I thought I'd be healthier and choose their grilled boneless "wings" custom combo with chips & queso.

These aren't wings and I'm not even going to pretend they are. They are flattened patties of chicken dipped in buffalo sauce. The chicken was flavorless and I was not a fan of it at all.

The chips & queso were good though - thick, white cheese and very creamy with a little zip.

They even gave us Twizzlers and hand wipes with our check! I stashed them in the car for our next road trip.

Why Should You Go? Well everybody says the wings are great - so next time - I'll listen to them and try actual wings!
