Product Review: Dips from Tastefully Simple & Giveaway!

I love summer and am definitely sad to see it coming to an end. We have a pool and it's so great to just enjoy the cool water with friends on hot hot days. Here's a fun shot from our summer:

That's Larry and our friend's dog Guinness. He's a 98 pound lab that LOVES the water!! Can you tell? They played fetch for 2 hours!!! In and out of that pool - it was so funny! And all that running and jumping worked up quite an appetite - so I pulled out my Tastefully Simple dips and made some snacks!

First up was the Lemonade Fruit Dip Mix - the mix calls for cream cheese and marshmallow creme - but I saw somewhere that you could also just use Cool Whip. I figured that would be lighter and no worries of egg (some marshmallow creme's have eggs). All I did was stir the dip mix into a container of the whipped topping.

The dip was DELICIOUS! At first - it was very creamy - just like the whipped topping's normal texture - but after being refrigerated for a while - it fluffed up and got really stiff - but still yummy. We gobbled a big container of strawberries in record time with the help of this dip. It was sooooo good! I would definitely buy this again in a heartbeat!

I got these dips from Brandy Vitucci - a local Tastefully Simple consultant. In addition to the lemonade, she sent me a Bacon Bacon dip to try. This said to mix with mayo & sour cream - but again to avoid the eggs - I just did a 100% sour cream.

The bacon bacon is pretty good - great with chips and carrots. It was easy enough too - just open and stir!

I have always liked Tastefully Simple - they've got a nice wide variety of food products and everything always tastes good. Brandy also gave me the Trio pack (Bacon Bacon, Garlic Garlic and Onion Onion dips) to give away to one of you! So enter below and let me know what Tastefully Simple product you would like to try!
