Restaurant Review: Foley's Pub - Lockland OH

Hubby and I were driving around Lockland aimlessly one evening looking for a Skyline Chili. We never found it - but we did find Foley's Pub very near the wedding district.

Obviously it was dark but I took a pic anyway - it's a nice sized place with it's own parking lot.

Oh I love menu's like this - if only it were laminated! There are lots of options and I went with what the (hot) bartender recommended. (Hey - just noticing and letting people know what to look for!)

It's a good sports bar - Larry commented about how he'd like to watch a game there - plenty of TVs and good seats facing them. There's an ample supply of high & low top tables along with a big bar.

Upon hot bartender's recommendation, I went for Steve's half-pound burger ($7.49) which is served with chips and your choice of american, swiss, cheddar, provolone or blue cheese. You can also add bacon, mushrooms and a pretzel bun.

It's a good burger - it was juicy and had lots of toppings. I was debating between this and the pot roast sandwich and said bartender said if this was my first time at Foley's I had to have the burger. I liked it and it was really big - I couldn't quite finish it. The fries were great too - big steak fries.

Larry got a BLT Double ($7.99) and killed the whole thing. I didn't even get a bite!

Why Should You Go? We definitely would go back if we were close by. They have a lot of options and the food is great. Bartender was really friendly too.
