What Can I Make for Dinner? Weekly Meal Plan: An Iowa Specialty!

What Can I Make for Dinner? Weekly Meal Plan

Spring is JUST around the corner - but we still have a little cold weather left - and that's why this meal plan is great! Some chili, apple pie and an Iowa specialty - lots of comfort food!!! Enjoy!

Click in for all of these delicious recipes! Get your grocery shopping done quick because you can pick and choose from these recipes! Yum!

I did my grocery shopping yesterday - because I have so much to get done today! It was so easy to put my order in ahead of time and my Shipt shopper did such a great job finding everything I need for my TV time! You can sign up for Shipt here!  There's a small annual fee and then you get all orders over $35 delivered free! I haven't been to the grocery store since April 2017! Woohoo!

Back home in Iowa - Maid Rite is our version of Skyline Chili - it's an Iowa thing and we all love it! I miss having them so I like to make my own version. And my standard order is a Cheese Rite so this is my favorite!

And jazz up your side dish with these cheesy home fries!

One of my favorite places for dinner in Cinci is Court Street Lobster Bar - definitely made me a fan of the Lobster Roll. Do you like them with butter or mayo?

I can't get enough of this turkey chili - it's become a near weekly go-to! And it's ZERO points (aka - it's healthy!).

You've got to have something to go with that chili - and these garlic twisties are perfect!

Mom's Quiche
I love my Mom's Quiche and sometimes it's great to have for dinner! Then you have leftovers for breakfast.

Friday's are perfect for a slow cooker recipe - come home at the end of a week and RELAX!

I love a pasta salad and this taco one is simple and delicious!!!

I love apple pie but it's a lot of work - this is "crustless" version really highlights the apple and gives you all the best stuff of apple pie with 1/10th the work!

Remember those frozen dinners when we were kids - there was only the one brand and Salisbury Steak was my favorite. Now - I can make the real (and much tastier) version!
