As a native Cincinnatian, I’ve been eating Frisch’s tartar sauce egg salad on pumpernickel since I was a kid. My dad used to make it for us. He worked at Ford and would include this for his packed lunches. 2 hardboiled eggs and a packet of Frisch’s tartar sauce. It is simply the best portable lunch around. No soggy bread and it always tastes fresh! I’m 57 and still proselytizing it as “the way” to make egg salad!
