Black and white always makes it spookier – right?! This one is super easy – the secret is to get the little mini “pie pumpkins” – they’re quick to carve and just the right size for some dip vomit! 😉
These take no time at all to scoop out! Be careful when you cut the top off to take as little as possible but still keep the top in tact. You need as much room as possible to carve and still put the top back on. The folks at HeluvaGood Dip sent me a bunch of dip for an upcoming TV appearance and I couldn’t help but make some of these tricky treats ahead of time!
The puking pumpkin is all the rage! Use a paring knife to cut out the mouth and eyes – these are super small – so the depth of the knife is about all you need. You might even buy an extra pumpkin just in case you mess one up!
I also got a couple of bell pepper and made a little happy “pumpkin” face and use the pepper to hold pepper, celery and carrot sticks!
All served with my favorite HeluvaGood Dip! Although – it’s hard to decide between their flavors: French Onion, Buttermilk Ranch, Bacon Horseradish and – my favorite – Dill Pickle!!! Yum!
You can even use your spare pumpkin as a veggie holder! I popped some cauliflower in because it sort of looks like brains! I added crackers, carrots, cherry tomatoes and HeluvaGood Dip to the Halloween tray. And of course – I got everything at Meijer using my Shipt app! Free grocery delivery on orders over $35! What does that mean? I bought all my Halloween candy FROM MY COUCH! Happy Halloween to me!
I hope these Spooky Snack ideas jazz up your Halloween party and keep the kids from killing all that candy in one night! Thanks to the folks at HeluvaGood Dip for sponsoring my TV appearance on Monday and for supplying all this great dip!
