Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry

Cinnamon Sugar Puff Pastry is a delicious and super-easy dessert to make! I love the light and airy puff pastry coated in sweet cinnamon sugar (and butter!).

Instructions

  • Pull out your puff pastry sheets at least 15 minutes before starting so it can come to room temperature and not crack when unrolled.
    1 sheet puff pastry
  • Preheat your oven to 400°F and line baking tray or sheet pan with parchment paper.
  • Mix together your sugar and cinnamon in a small bowl.
1/2 cup sugar, 2 tsp Saigon Cinnamon
  • Place your sheet of puff pastry on a lightly floured work surface. Using a sharp knife or a pizza cutter, slice into 18 strips. (9 squares, then cut those in half)
  • Use a pastry brush and brush melted butter on one side of the pastry slices.
    3 tbsp butter
  • Layer on the cinnamon-sugar mixture and press it into the butter.
  • Flip all the slices and repeat with butter and sprinkle the sugar mixture.
  • Hold each end of one strip and twist. Place on your parchment paper and then repeat.
  • Place baking sheet into preheated oven and bake for 14-15 minutes until a light golden brown.
