Equipment

Ingredients
  

  • 4 Pork chops boneless, thick cut
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup ketchup
  • 10 oz frozen pineapple chunks
  • 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice
  • 6 oz pineapple juice
  • 3 tablespoons vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons minced garlic
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 3 tablespoons corn starch

Instructions
 

  • Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
  • In the bottom of your slow cooker, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, crushed pineapple, vinegar, water, garlic and cornstarch.
    1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/3 cup brown sugar, 1/4 cup ketchup, 10 oz frozen pineapple chunks, 20 oz crushed pineapple with juice, 6 oz pineapple juice, 3 tablespoons vinegar, 2 teaspoons minced garlic, 1/2 cup water, 3 tablespoons corn starch
  • Place pork chops into the soy sauce mixture and top with pineapple chunks. Add the lid onto your cooker and seal. (My new slow cooker seals tight - it's so much nicer!)

  • Cook slow cooker hawaiian pork chops on high 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Using a meat thermometer, you can check the internal temperature of the pork chops to be sure they are done. They should be 145º.
  • Serve over rice and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. You'll have plenty of sauce to top the rice for a great side dish! Add vegetables and you've got a meal!
