Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 egg at room temperature
  • 1/3 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 tsp pure vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 2/3 cup blueberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 375°F. Spray a 6-count jumbo muffin pan with nonstick spray or use cupcake liners.
  • Whisk together flour, sugar, brown sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt together in a large bowl. Set aside.

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together eggs, sour cream, oil, milk and vanilla extract together until combined.

  • Pour wet ingredients into dry ingredients and fold together with a rubber spatula or wooden spoon until completely combined. The batter will be thick but don’t overmix.
  • Fold in chocolate chips and blueberries
    1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, 2/3 cup blueberries, 1/2 cup milk chocolate chips
  • Spoon the batter into muffin tins about 2/3 full.
  • Bake at 375 for 25 min - check with a toothpick.
  • Cool muffins for 10 minutes in the pan, then transfer to a wire rack until ready to eat.
  • Cover leftover muffins and store at room temperature for 5 days or in the refrigerator for 1 week.
