Traeger Grilled Corn on the Cob

Traeger corn on the cob is one of those summer staples that I'm obsessed with! Being from Iowa - I can never get enough fresh corn - summertime and farmers markets are my favorite! The best part is - grilled corn on the cob is super simple!

Ingredients
  

  • 8 ears corn on the cob silks removed
  • 1 cup sugar
  • water

Instructions
 

  • Pull outer husks of corn back and remove silk from corn - pull husks back up over corn.

  • Fill sink half full with water and pour in 1 cup sugar. Stir to dissolve sugar
    1 cup sugar, water
  • Add corn to sugar water and let rest for an hour
  • Preheat Traeger to 350º.
  • Remove corn from sugar water and shake excess water off. Place corn with husks on grill grates, shut the lid of the Traeger and smoke for 25-35 minutes
  • Remove smoked corn on the cob from grill, pull back and remove outer husks
  • Serve with butter, salt and black pepper.
    QUICK TIP: Place corn with butter, salt and pepper into a gallon zip bag and roll the corn in the bag to coat!
