Frozen wings in the air fryer are so simple! There's a couple tips for seasoning them but they're done from frozen in just 20 minutes! You'll never buy those pre-cooked wings again!
Open air fryer and sprinkle with 1 tbsp of each seasoning
Flip wings and sprinkle with remaining seasoning
Air fry at 400 for an additional 10 minutes
Serve with ranch or more seasoning!
Notes
Can you marinate or brine frozen wings? No – here’s the thing that’s a little difficult in working with frozen wings – nothing is going to stick or soak in. So you’re best to go with a dry rub seasoning that you sprinkle on mid-air fry.
How long do frozen uncooked wings take in the air fryer?20 minutes at 400 from freezer to plate!
How long do pre-cooked frozen wings take in the air fryer?12 minutes at 375 from freezer to plate
Can you stack chicken wings in the air fryer?Somewhat – but I wouldn’t fill the air fryer with them. You could do a full layer on the bottom and stagger a few on top.
Do I need to preheat my air fryer?Nope – I never do!
Can you put aluminum foil in an air fryer?Yes – but I don’t find it necessary. If you do – be sure to poke a bunch of holes so the air gets through since that’s the point of an air fryer.
