Chili Maple Sauce

Instructions
 

  • Trim the bottom end off of Brussel sprouts and slice them in half. For extra large ones, quarter them. Be sure to keep all the outer leaves! They get really crispy! 
    1 lb Brussels sprouts
  • In a large mixing bowl, add sprouts and bacon. Pour in olive oil, salt, garlic powder and maple syrup. Toss to coat. 
    5 slices bacon, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt, 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • Add the sprouts and bacon in the air fryer basket and spread them out to an even single layer. Air fry at 380º for 7 minutes. Open air fryer and stir Brussels sprouts and bacon. Air fry for an additional 6 minutes
  • In a separate small bowl, whisk together maple syrup and chili powder. 
    2 tbsp maple syrup, 1/2 tsp ancho chili powder
  • Transfer the Brussels sprouts to a serving bowl and toss with the chipotle maple sauce.
