Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp raw, peeled, deveined
  • 1 lb Fettuccine
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 8 tbsp butter split
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 1 tbsp garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp flour
  • 1.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1.5 cup 2% milk
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 cup Romano cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper

Instructions
 

  • Cook pasta according to directions on box. Drain and set aside.

  • While pasta cooks, In a skillet, add olive oil and 2 tbsp butter to a large skillet over medium high heat. Once butter is melted, add shrimp and saute for 1-2 min on each side until opaque. Remove from pan and set aside in a bowl and toss with Italian seasoning. Lightly cover.

  • Once noodles are done - In a saucepan over medium-high heat, Add remaining butter and garlic. Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.

  • Lower to medium heat and whisk in flour and quickly add milk, heavy cream, Parmesan and Romano cheese to saucepan and stir frequently until the cheese melts and incorporates into the sauce and it begins to simmer and thicken. Add salt & pepper and whisk to combine. Remove from heat.
    2 tbsp flour, 1.5 cup heavy whipping cream, 1.5 cup 2% milk, 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/2 cup Romano cheese, 1/2 tsp salt, 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Toss pasta with Alfredo sauce. Top with shrimp and garnish with Italian seasoning and fresh parsley
