Baked Potatoes on the Traeger

Making Baked Potatoes on a Traeger pellet grill really made them even better with that subtle smoky flavor that the wood pellets bring! There's nothing I love more than a crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside baked potato!

  • Preheat Traeger to 300º F.
  • Wash the potatoes and pat dry with paper towel. Poke potato a few times with a paring knife, rub olive oil over the entire potato and season all sides with coarse sea salt.
    4 russet baking potatoes, 2 tbsp olive oil, 2 tsp coarse sea salt
  • Place the seasoned potatoes onto the Traeger grill grates and smoke for about 90 minutes, or until soft and fork-tender.
  • Carefully remove from the Traeger and serve with your favorite toppings like butter, sour cream and a sprinkle of chives or parsley.
