Blackstone Pizza is a quick way to make a delicious dinner that everyone will love! No matter what kind of crust you're using, you'll have a crispy crust and then loads of your favorite toppings!
Spray cooking spray or oil on your griddle - you don’t need much.
With canned dough, open and lay it out onto your greased, preheated griddle surface.
1 can pizza crust dough
Cook on one side until golden brown - about 3-4 minutes.
While dough is browning, add pepperoni and mushrooms on other side of griddle. These will saute while crust is cooking.
2 oz pepperoni slices, 4 oz mushrooms
Feel free to sprinkle on some Italian seasoning too!
Flip dough and add sauce and half cheese. Place dome over crust to help cheese melt. Cook pizza for about 2 minutes.
1/2 cup pizza sauce, 2 cups mozzarella cheese
Remove dome and add pepperoni and mushrooms to pizza. Replace dome to melt cheese. Turn heat to low or turn off.
Remove pizza from griddle and slice with pizza cutter. Serve while hot!
Notes
How do you store and reheat leftover pizza?Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 250º for 3-4 minutes.
Can I use precooked dough - like flatbread - on the griddle? If using pre-cooked dough, no need to oil griddle. Just need to heat one side for 2 minutes to warm it. Then flip and add toppings.
Can I use fresh or homemade pizza dough? If using fresh dough (not canned) - roll out into shape before placing on griddle. Using a fork poke a few holes to keep it from bubbling. Then flip and proceed like the recipe does for the canned dough.
I have a lid on my Blackstone - do I need to use a dome?If you have a lid, just shut the lid vs. using a dome to trap heat and melt cheese.
My crust is getting too brown directly on the griddle - what can I do?If crust is getting too brown on bottom, you can put it on a cooling rack to move it off the surface. Then replace dome to trap heat and melt cheese.**We are not dietitians and recommend you seek a nutritionist for exact nutritional information.
