BLT on a Bagel

Enjoying a BLT on a Bagel is now one of my favorite sandwiches! An Everything Bagel loaded with meaty smoky bacon, crispy lettuce and tomato - PLUS a delicious bacon scallion cream cheese to bring it all together to be the ULTIMATE BLT SANDWICH!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 everything bagels sliced
  • 6 slices bacon cooked
  • 2 slices tomato
  • 4 green lettuce leaves
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 2 tbsp scallions or chives diced

Instructions
 

  • Toast the bagel to your desired liking and cook bacon to your liking.
    2 everything bagels, 6 slices bacon
  • On a cutting board, chop two pieces bacon and mix with softened cream cheese and diced scallions.
    4 oz cream cheese, 2 tbsp scallions or chives
  • Spread cream cheese spread on each side of bagel.
  • Layer on lettuce, tomato and 2 slices of bacon.
    2 slices tomato, 4 green lettuce leaves
  • OPTIONAL: sprinkle a touch of coarse sea salt & black pepper on the tomato
  • Close sandwich, slice in half with a serrated knife and serve with chips!
