Longhorn Spinach Dip
Longhorn Spinach Dip is a cheese pull heaven! This four-cheese spinach dip is topped with a crispy topping full of Parmesan, garlic & cheese. It's quick to make and when you dip it into pita chips and you'll be in heaven!
Preheat oven to 375º and spray a nonstick 8x8 baking dish.
In a deep dish skillet, sauté the butter and garlic over medium heat. Cook for 1 minute, stirring occasionally.
3 tbsp butter, 3 cloves garlic
Whisk in flour and salt. Quickly add milk, cream and cream cheese to pan. Stir until the cream cheese is melted into the liquid.
1 tbsp flour, 1.5 cup milk, 1 cup heavy cream, 8 oz cream cheese, 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt
Add in mozzarella, 1/4 cup Parmesan, Romano cheese and spinach. Stir until spinach is wilted and mixture is thickened.
1 cup mozzarella cheese, 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup Romano cheese, 5 oz baby spinach
Pour mixture into a baking dish
In a small bowl, stir together 2 tbsp Parmesan cheese, panko, melted butter, garlic, Italian seasoning and salt.
3 tbsp panko breadcrumbs, 2 tbsp butter, 1 tbsp garlic, 1 tsp Italian seasoning, 1/8 tsp coarse sea salt
Sprinkle breadcrumb mixture over top of dip and place in oven for 10 minutes. Change oven to Broil High and bake 2 min longer until top turns golden brown. Watch closely!
