Outback Steakhouse Seasoned Rice
Outback Steakhouse Seasoned Rice is light and fluffy plus it's got flavor! Outback may be known for their steak - but this fluffy rice with bits of sautéed bell pepper and onion is a family favorite and easy to make at home!

2 tbsp butter 1/2 Red Bell pepper finely diced 1/2 yellow onion finely diced 1/2 tsp garlic powder 1/2 tsp onion powder 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt 1/4 tsp black pepper 1 cup long grain white rice 1 2/3 cups chicken broth 2 tbsp parsley chopped
In a large deep dish skillet, melt butter

Add pepper and onion and sauté until soft
1/2 Red Bell pepper, 1/2 yellow onion
Add garlic, onion powder, salt & pepper and stir
1/2 tsp garlic powder, 1/2 tsp onion powder, 1/2 tsp coarse sea salt, 1/4 tsp black pepper
Add rice and stir until mixed together.
1 cup long grain white rice
Add chicken broth and cover. Mixture should be simmering - but not rolling boil. Cook for 13 minutes.
1 2/3 cups chicken broth
Remove from heat and let rice sit for 5 minutes.
Fluff rice, add parsley and toss.
