Traeger Smoked Asparagus

Making asparagus on the Traeger adds a smoky flavor that you'll love! It's very subtle but so delicious. Asparagus is one of the easiest vegetables to cook and is a great side dish for any meal.

Instructions

  • Turn on your Traeger to the SMOKE setting. Once smoke dissipates, preheat pellet grill to 200ºF
    1 bunch asparagus
  • Trim asparagus by bending about 1/3 from the bottom of the stem. Asparagus will naturally break at the right point. Discard the woody end and just use the end with the tree top.
  • On a cookie sheet, sprinkle asparagus with olive oil & seasoning
2 tbsp olive oil, 1 tbsp lemon herb seasoning
  • Once smoker is up to temp, place asparagus directly on grill grates or in a grill pan
  • Smoke for 45 minutes, turning halfway thru
  • Remove asparagus from grill and serve with a squeeze of lemon juice and a sprinkle of Parmesan cheese
