Cheeseburger Biscuit Bites

Maid Rites are my hometown favorite meal - I've been eating them since I could chew! These Cheeseburger Biscuit Bites are a delicious take on the traditional sandwich made with a can of biscuits and some garlic butter - so good!!!

  • Pre heat oven to 350º & spray cookie sheet with nonstick cooking spray
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, crumble ground beef and brown over medium high heat – break up completely into tiny pieces – about 2/3 way through
    1 lb ground beef
  • While ground beef is cooking, pull apart flaky biscuits in half. Using a rolling pin, flatten biscuit halves so they are larger in shape. Place half the biscuits onto the cookie sheet.
    10 count Grands Flaky Layer Biscuits
  • To the skillet with the hamburger, add bouillon, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire and soy sauce. Simmer on low until liquid is evaporated and remove from heat
    1 tsp Better than Bouillon Base, 1/2 cup water, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp apple cider vinegar, 1.5 tbsp Worcestershire sauce, 1.5 tbsp soy sauce
  • Spoon 1/4 cup beef crumbles (or a little less) onto the biscuit halves on the cookie sheet. 
  • Top seasoned ground beef with a couple of pickles slices and 1/2 slice of cheese. Place other half of the biscuit on top of cheese and pinch together on all sides.

  • In a microwave safe bowl, place butter and garlic and cover with press & seal – microwave for 1 minute. Stir together.
    1/2 stick salted butter, 1 tsp minced garlic
  • Using a silicone baster, spread the garlic butter on top of the sandwiches and sprinkle with parsley. 
    1 tsp dried parsley
  • Bake 12-15 minutes at 350º until golden brown. 
  • Remove from oven and serve with your favorite burger sauces and a salad.
