Crab Pasta Salad
Crab & Pasta Salad is a light and filling pasta salad full of imitation crab, pasta shells and crunchy veggies in a creamy dill-icious dressing! This pasta salad is great for family gatherings or even make-ahead lunches for the week!
Fill a large pot with salted water and bring to a boil over high heat. Add the pasta and cook according to the package instructions until al dente. Drain the pasta and rinse under cold water until cooled.
16 oz medium pasta shells
In a large mixing bowl (you’ll eventually be adding all the ingredients to this bowl), whisk together mayonnaise, lemon juice, Old Bay seasoning, salt pepper garlic and dill. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
2 cup Dukes mayonnaise, 2 tbsp lemon juice, 2 tsp Old Bay seasoning, 1 tsp Salt Pepper Garlic, 2 tbsp fresh dill
To the same bowl, add the cooled pasta, crab, celery, bell pepper, red onion and cheese.
16 ounces flaked-style imitation crab meat, 1 cup celery, 1 cup bell pepper, ½ cup red onion, 1 cup cheddar cheese
Stir well to coat all ingredients with dressing. Taste the salad, and adjust the seasoning if necessary.
Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or a lid; refrigerate the crab pasta salad for at least an hour before serving. Chilling the salad allows the flavors to blend together.
