One Pot Cheesy Sausage Pasta
This is the cheesiest sausage one pot pasta you’ll ever try! It’s my favorite comfort food recipe and it’s quick and easy!
Ingredients
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
- 1/2 cup onion diced
- 1 cup mushrooms sliced
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 2 cups chicken broth
- 1 10-14 oz can of roasted or diced tomatoes
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 box macaroni 2 cups dry
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 cup shredded cojack cheese
Instructions
- Add olive oil to deep dish skillet on medium high heat1 tbsp olive oil
- Add onion, sausage and mushrooms and saute until onions and mushrooms soften1 lb smoked sausage, 1/2 cup onion, 1 cup mushrooms
- Add garlic and cook for 1 minute1 tbsp minced garlic
- Add chicken broth, tomatoes, milk, pasta and seasoning2 cups chicken broth, 1 10-14 oz can of roasted or diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 box macaroni, 1 tsp salt
- Bring the mixture to a boil, cover and turn heat to low
- Simmer for 15 minutes until pasta is tender
- Turn off heat and stir in 1/2 cup of cheese1 cup shredded cojack cheese
- Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top and cover for 5 minutes for cheese to melt1 cup shredded cojack cheese
Notes
Feel free to add more veggies like peppers
