One Pot Cheesy Sausage Pasta

This is the cheesiest sausage one pot pasta you’ll ever try! It’s my favorite comfort food recipe and it’s quick and easy!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 lb smoked sausage sliced
  • 1/2 cup onion diced
  • 1 cup mushrooms sliced
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 10-14 oz can of roasted or diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/2 box macaroni 2 cups dry
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup shredded cojack cheese

Instructions
 

  • Add olive oil to deep dish skillet on medium high heat
    1 tbsp olive oil
  • Add onion, sausage and mushrooms and saute until onions and mushrooms soften
    1 lb smoked sausage, 1/2 cup onion, 1 cup mushrooms
  • Add garlic and cook for 1 minute
    1 tbsp minced garlic
  • Add chicken broth, tomatoes, milk, pasta and seasoning
    2 cups chicken broth, 1 10-14 oz can of roasted or diced tomatoes, 1/2 cup milk, 1/2 box macaroni, 1 tsp salt
  • Bring the mixture to a boil, cover and turn heat to low
  • Simmer for 15 minutes until pasta is tender
  • Turn off heat and stir in 1/2 cup of cheese
    1 cup shredded cojack cheese
  • Sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup of cheese on top and cover for 5 minutes for cheese to melt
    1 cup shredded cojack cheese

Notes

Feel free to add more veggies like peppers
