Maid Rite Biscuit Bites

Maid Rites are my hometown favorite meal - I've been eating them since I could chew! These Maid Rite Biscuit Bites are a delicious take on the traditional sandwich made with a can of biscuits and some garlic butter - so good!!!

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Brown ground beef over medium high heat - break up completely into tiny pieces - about 2/3 way through
  • While beef is browning, spray cookie sheet with nonstick spray
  • Pull apart flaky biscuits in half and roll them out to be a little flatter and place half the biscuits onto the cookie sheet
  • Add bouillon, water, brown sugar, vinegar, Worcestershire and soy sauce to ground beef. Simmer on low until liquid is evaporated and remove from heat
  • Spoon 1/4 cup beef mixture (or a little less) onto the biscuit halves
  • Lay a couple of pickles slices and 1/2 slice of cheese on top of the meat
  • Top with the other half of the biscuit and pinch together on the sides
  • In a microwave safe bowl, place butter and garlic and cover with press & seal - microwave for 1 minute. Stir together
  • Using a silicone baster, spread the garlic butter on top of the sandwiches
  • Bake 12-15 minutes
