I happened to be out of dog food so it was great timing. Luvsome is a great deal – it was definitely more affordable than my regular brand of dog food – but was it as good?
They have a handy chart on their site to compare ingredients. It’s great to see that Luvsome has meat proteins and whole grains.
The other thing I really liked about the product is the resealable spout. With dog food – I have a container to put it into – but with my cat food I don’t – so this is great! I can’t believe pet food brands haven’t figured this out yet. Sometimes these little conveniences help so much!
They have a variety of flavors of wet cat food (fyi: they have dry & wet for dogs & cats). I went for a grab bag. Some of mine like the “pate” texture while others like the more flaked/chunk varieties. I normally feed my cats dry with wet as a special treat once in a while.
Ivy was very curious about this new food and was just staring me down to let her try it out. She might be a fat cat but she can be persnickety!
But – SUCCESS! Everybody dug into the food and went to town with no leftovers in site.
Interesting. I bought Luvsome chicken and rice canned food. My dog won’t even go near the bowl! He absolutely refused to eat it even disguised with pumpkin. I’m glad it didn’t cost much. Guess it’s true, you get what you pay for! I’d never recommend this brand.
My dogs just love it . I have trouble getting to eat and I brought this brand and all 5 of them love it. Unfortunately it’s hard to find.
We have a cat rescue sanctuary. One of our team only wants Luvsome”s Turkey and Giblets dinner
above every other brand. We don’t go out because of my husband is “high risk” for the virus. I have
tried so hard to order this by getting a Kroger card, etc. But I am just not getting there. Amazon
doesn’t sell this can either. I am happy to pay to have it shipped and will buy a lot so I have plenty
for her and our volunteer shopper doesn’t find them at Ralphs which is the closet store we have to
a Krogers. Thanks for any help you can give…I really appreciate it!
