Slow Cooker Hawaiian Pork Chops are a family favorite! Tender boneless pork chops coated in a thick sweet & sour sauce with juicy chunks of pineapple.

What You Will ❤️ About Hawaiian Pork Chops
- Sweet & Sour – These amazing Hawaiian Pork Chops have a thick homemade sweet & sour sauce! It’s not that sugary red kind from a Chinese restaurant – it’s so much better!
- Triple the Pineapple! I’m a big pineapple fan so I had chunks of pineapple on top and crushed pineapple & pineapple juice in the sauce!
- Support Farmers – Anytime you cook with pork in Ohio, you are supporting farmers in Ohio! That’s something I can always get behind!

Ingredients for Hawaiian Pork Chops
This Slow Cooker Hawaiian Pork Chops recipe is easy to make with a homemade sweet & sour sauce made from simple ingredients. Here’s what you need:
- Pork Chops – I used thick boneless chops which you can buy precut or cut from a pork loin. You could also use a pork tenderloin or bone in pork chops.
- You can season chops with salt and pepper before adding to the crock pot.
- Soy sauce
- Brown sugar
- Ketchup
- Pineapple – I used pineapple chunks and crushed – but you could also use pineapple slices! Feel free to use fresh pineapple as well.
- I started with just the pineapple chunks but wanted MORE pineapple – so I added the crushed to the sauce.
- Pineapple juice – you can swap 1/2 cup water for the liquid or chicken broth but I love the tanginess of pineapple juice
- Vinegar – you can substitute rice vinegar if you need to
- Minced garlic
- Corn starch

This recipe was made using the Hamilton Beach Slow Cooker.

How to make Crockpot Hawaiian Pork Chops
- Spray the inside of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
- In the bottom of your slow cooker, whisk together soy sauce, brown sugar, ketchup, pineapple juice, crushed pineapple, vinegar, water, garlic and cornstarch.
- Place pork chops into the soy sauce mixture and top with pineapple chunks. Add the lid onto your cooker and seal. (My new slow cooker seals tight – it’s so much nicer!)
- Cook slow cooker hawaiian pork chops on high 3 hours on high or 6 hours on low. Using a meat thermometer, you can check the internal temperature of the pork chops to be sure they are done. They should be 145º.
- Serve over rice and sprinkle with fresh cilantro. You’ll have plenty of sauce to top the rice for a great side dish! Add vegetables and you’ve got a meal!

Tips, Tricks & FAQs
Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can freeze up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 2 minutes.
White rice, brown rice or even mashed potatoes are a great compliment to these pork chops.
Nope! No need to heat the sauce on the stove! It’ll cook in the crock pot just fine!
Yup! You’ll need two freezer bags. Mix together the sauce and place in one bag. Place that bag and your pork chops into the 2nd bag. Squeeze out the air and freeze up to three months. Remove bags the night before and let thaw in the refrigerator and then cook as directed.
