Making Hot Pockets in your Air Fryer just kicked your lunch game up a notch! I’ve been working from home for over a year now and some days I just don’t have time to cook a full meal – so I go to the freezer and grab something!
But who wants a microwaved sogged up hot pocket? Not me!!!! And since you all know I’m completely air fryer obsessed (I mean check out my photoshoot with my air fryer) – I popped them in to see if they were better?
OF COURSE THEY WERE! EVERYTHING IS BETTER IN THE AIR FRYER!
And if you want to make them even better – dip them in my Jalapeno Ranch!
What kind of Hot Pockets can you make?
Any kind of Hot Pockets will be fine in the air fryer! They now have regular, protein and Big & Bold.
I will warn you – it takes longer to make them in the air fryer than the microwave – but they’re so much crisper – it’s worth it!!!
How do you cook frozen Hot Pockets in the air fryer?
- Remove the plastic wrapping
- Remove the “crisper” shell
- Place just the frozen delight in the air fryer
- Air Fry!
I have never preheated my air fryer – it heats up super quick – works fine.
Regular size at 350, Big & Bold at 400
My rule of thumb for frozen goods is same temp and half the time – for these – go a little less than half. The regular Hot Pocket suggested 350 for 28 minutes – but in the air fryer it was 350 for 10 minutes. The Big & Bold suggests 400 for 35 minutes – but in the air fryer it was 400 for 12 minutes.

Air Fryer Hot Pockets
- 2 Hot Pockets
- For Regular Hot Pockets – Cook at 350 for 10 minutes
- For Big & Bold Hot Pockets – Cook at 400 for 12 minutes
- Be sure to remove the plastic wrapper and the crisper sleeve – they can both be discarded
