Pulled Pork Flatbread Recipe Variations

Pulled pork is so easy to morph into multiple flavor profiles – here are some ways to change up the ingredients for a whole different taste!

  • Al Pastor – bbq sauce, pineapple, fresh cilantro, minced white onion
  • Caramelized Onion – instead of raw red onions, caramelize the onions and add to the pizza
  • Spicy – Add jarred or fresh jalapeños and pepper jack cheese
  • Buffalo – swap the BBQ sauce for Buffalo sauce and add a little blue cheese and green onions for crunch!

How to make BBQ Pork Flatbread?

This recipe is great to use with leftover pulled pork – it’s nice to have something to do with the leftovers besides sandwiches. And the flatbread is perfect to use as a crust – it gets crispy on the edges! I ate almost every bite (the dog’s drooling at my feet guilted me into a couple of bites).

  • Pre-heat oven to 425°F.
  • Spread 1/4 cup of bbq sauce on flatbread.
  • Mix pork in remaining sauce. Add most of cheese onto crust. Add pork; top with a little extra cheese and red onions.
  • Place flatbread on a baking sheet and bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts and starts to brown.
    • Air fryer instructions: Air Fry at 400 for 5 minutes
