Little Caesars Italian Cheese Bread Ingredients

This copycat Italian cheesy bread recipe has just five simple quality ingredients and every one is essential! Italian spices and loads of cheese make this dish!

  • Pizza dough – I bought a frozen pizza dough and it was so easy to use! Let your store-bought dough thaw and you’re ready! NO WORK!!!
  • Butter – you can swap with olive oil but just use 1.5 tbsp it’s got a much stronger flavor
  • Minced garlic & Italian seasoning (dried basil, dried oregano, dried rosemary, dried thyme and dried marjoram)
  • Mozzarella cheese – feel free to add some Parmesan cheese or Romano cheese as well!

How to Make Little Caesars Italian Cheese Bread

Italian Cheese Bread sticks are pretty much one of my favorite foods and perfect for a weekend feast with the family! The nice thing is – we’re using a premade pizza dough so you don’t have to wait to let the dough rise!

  • Let dough thaw in the refrigerator overnight. Then remove from refrigerator about 30 minutes before baking and let it come to room temperature.
  • Spray a metal cake pan with nonstick cooking spray very heavily or brush with vegetable oil. You might also cut out a sheet of parchment and put in the bottom of the pan so it comes out more easily.
  • Lightly press pizza dough into cake pan – be sure to keep dough nice and thick.
  • In a small bowl, melt butter and mix together with minced garlic and ONE tsp of Italian seasoning
  • Pour melted butter mixture onto pizza dough and brush to edges with a pastry brush
  • Sprinkle shredded cheese all over dough being sure to push cheese to edges
  • Sprinkle with remaining Italian seasoning
  • Bake cheese bread at 400º for 12 minutes and then on Low Broil for 2-3 min until golden brown (watch it closely on broil)
  • Remove from oven and then remove from pan. Using a pizza cutter, slice into 10 cheesy garlic bread sticks!
  • Serve and dip into marinara sauce or make a little extra of that garlic buttery sauce!

Tips, Tricks & FAQs

What is Italian cheese bread at Little Caesars?

Little Caesars Italian Cheese Bread starts with a crispy fluffy bread and tops it with Italian seasonings and loads of cheese!

What kind of pan do I need to use to make Cheesy Italian Bread?

If you want those crusty edges on your cheese sticks – use a metal pan and push the cheese all the way to the edges. I used a round cake pan but you can use a square pan or even a cast iron skillet.

How do you get the cheese bread out of the pan?

First – spray it really well! If you have parchment paper – cut out a sheet the shape of your pan and place it in the bottom of the pan. When the bread is done, run a thin knife around the edges of the pan to loose the crispy edges. Then grab a thin spatula and pull the sides in and get underneath the bread. Run the spatula around the whole pan to loosen it – and then you’ll be able to slide the whole cheesy bread out in one piece!

How do you store and reheat leftover Italian cheese bread?

Store leftovers in an airtight containers (I like these glass storage ones) or in aluminum foil in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 250º for 5 min or the oven at 300º for 10-12 minutes.

Italian Cheese Bread Recipe Variations

  • Pepperoni Cheese Bread – add pepperoni for a tasty meat treat and you’ll have an extra cheesy pizza!
  • Homemade Pizza Dough – feeling super ambitious – make your own pizza dough! I like Guy Fieri’s pizza dough recipe.
  • Veggies – saute some bell peppers and mushrooms and add under the cheese for a veggie surprise!
  • Caprese – change it up by adding fresh mozzarella, slices of tomato and fresh basil leaves for a Caprese cheesy bread!

It’s a great recipe. I didn’t use pizza dough though because I didn’t make enough and this was last minute for my kids, so I used croissant dough instead and a small sheet pan.
They turned out really good and everyone raved about the flavor!
Thank you! I made pizza and found this to add the cheese sticks!

I loved this recipe. I made it in my NuWave oven and the only thing I would do differently is cook it for 2-3 more minutes. I will be making this again for sure.
