Longhorn Steakhouse Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad is a delicious summer salad that you can make at home any time of year! Loaded with grilled chicken, fresh strawberries, red grapes, mandarin oranges, feta cheese and more!

What You Will ❤️ About Chicken & Strawberry Salad
- Refreshing! The fruit combined with the raspberry vinaigrette is delicious!
- Juicy Grilled Chicken – I make my chicken in the air fryer and it’s perfect every time!
- Better than Longhorn! Let me tell you – the salad I got at Longhorn was SAD! Hardly any toppings! Mine will make you say LongWHO?!

Longhorn Steakhouse Strawberry Salad Ingredients
- Chicken breast – I made my own “grilled chicken” for this dish in the air fryer – it truly makes the best and most juicy chicken
- Salt & Black Pepper – just a little seasoning for the chicken
- Spring Mix – you can use whatever salad greens you like but I typically grab the spring mix salad mix. If only making salad for 2, the bag salad mix works too!
- Strawberries – summer is the season for strawberries! be sure to use fresh berries
- Red grapes – red or green grapes (seedless) are fine – you might slice them as grape halves are easier to get on a fork
- Mandarin oranges – Canned or jarred mandarin orange segments work best
- Candied pecans – I used these Praline Pecans from Kroger – but you can also make your own cinnamon sugar-glazed pecans (substitute other nuts if you don’t love pecans)
- Feta cheese crumbles – I like to buy a chunk of Feta and crumble myself but use what you can find
- Kens Lite Raspberry Walnut Vinaigrette Salad Dressing – I could make my own raspberry vinaigrette but Ken’s has THE BEST! I like it even more than Ranch on my salads so I took the short cut and used that.

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

Recipe Variations
- Grilled Shrimp or Salmon – salmon or shrimp would be delicious on this salad as well!
- More Fruit – throw some pineapple or mango in there too!
- Vinaigrette – if you’re not a raspberry fan – you could try my blueberry vinaigrette recipe (blueberry jam, dijon mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, water & olive oil)
- Cheese – swap the feta for blue cheese or goat cheese
- Veggies – add red onion rings for another layer texture and bite of flavor!

How to make Longhorn Chicken & Strawberry Salad
This Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Salad is a favorite at my home! It’s so easy to make – while the chicken is cooking – prep the fruit and you’re done! Here’s how to make it:
- Slice chicken breast (if large) in half so its’ approx 1/2” thick. Season with salt & pepper on both sides.
- Place chicken breast slices in air fryer. Air fry at 360º for 11-15 minutes depending on size of chicken breasts. Turn half way thru. Test temperature with an instant read meat thermometer. Remove at 155º and let rest while you assemble salad.
- Prepare all fruit while chicken is cooking. Rinse strawberries and grapes and then dry with paper towel to remove extra moisture.
- Separate spring mix into 4 bowls or large plates. Top each with strawberry slices, red grapes, pecans and feta crumbles.
- Slice chicken and add to top of salads.
- Pour Salad Dressing over top and serve.

Tips, Tricks & FAQs
Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. I like to try and keep the ingredients separate if I know I’m going to have leftovers and only dress the salad I’m going to eat.
Sure! You’ll need: raspberry jelly or jam, dijon mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, water & olive oil. You can use my blueberry vinaigrette recipe as a sample.
Here are the easiest ways:
baked chicken – sprinkle with salt & pepper – bake at 350º for 25 minutes – check to be sure it’s 155-160º internal temp and let rest for 5 min
rotisserie chicken – you can use a store-bought rotisserie chicken and slice up the cooked chicken breast
You could cook on a skillet but I feel it dries out the chicken breast too much. You could sear the chicken on the skillet for 2 minutes per side and then bake for 20-25 minutes to get the best of both worlds.
