Ingredients for Oreo Cookie Dessert Bites

The Papa Bites all use the dough from pizza and breadsticks that you love. So pizza dough & Oreos are the main ingredients here! Here’s everything you need:

  • Pizza Dough – I like the frozen dough ball. Be sure you let it thaw in the fridge and then set it out so it’s room temperature when you work with it.
  • 14 oz package double stuff Oreo cookies – use any Oreos you like – I just like extra stuffing!!!
  • 2 ounces cream cheese – if you like it to have more of a cream cheese flavor – you can add up to 4 oz
  • 1/2 cup salted butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 3-5 Tablespoons milk – any kind of milk will do
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

How to make Papa John’s Oreo Bites

It’s easy to make the latest new menu addition to the Papa John’s menu – lay out your dough and add the topping! Bake and eat!

  1. Preheat oven to 375º
  2. On a baking sheet, add a piece of parchment paper and sprinkle with 2 tbsp flour.
  3. Roll out pizza dough into a large rectangle – 9×13”. If dough is still cold, let it sit for 10 min and come back – it will become more pliable.
  4. Using a pizza cutter, slice rectangle in half lengthwise to make two rectangles
  5. Spread crushed cookies onto dough halves – you’ll likely have some left – save in a ziplock for topping on ice cream!
  6. Roll rectangle from wide side into a log and press to seal the edge
  7. Melt 4 tbsp butter and baste onto logs. Then – using the pizza cutter, slice log into 1-2” “bites”
  8. Place bites on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  9. Bake for 24-26 minutes until dough is golden brown
  10. Take 1/3 cup icing and start drizzling over top of all the bites. Then serve the rest as a side of sweet icing for dipping!
  11. Icing Recipe
    • In a large bowl, using an electric hand mixer, beat the cream cheese and butter until smooth. Then add the powdered sugar, 2 Tablespoons of milk and vanilla. Beat just until combined. Do not over mix.
    • Add a Tablespoon more of milk at a time until reaching the desired consistency. It should be easy to pour.

Tips, Tricks & FAQs

What is in the Oreo Cookie Papa Bites?

These tasty little bites are pizza dough filled with Oreo cookie crumbles – then topped with cream cheese icing.

How much are Papa Bites?

They will vary in price depending on your location – here in the Cincinnati area they are $8 for 8 bites.

Can I make these in the air fryer?

Yes – but I would recommend cooking at 350º for 5 minutes as they cook much quicker! You’ll likely need to cook them in batches as well because of the size of the air fryer basket.

How do you store and reheat leftover Oreo bites

Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the microwave for 30 seconds.
