Sheet Pan Burgers
Sheet Pan Burgers are a delicious way to make burgers for a crowd without the grill or without the splatter of a skillet! Make 8-10 cheeseburger patties all at once in just 15 minutes!

What You Will ❤️ About Sheet Pan Burgers
- No Splatter – It’s great to cook burgers with no oil splatter from the stovetop!
- Get Stuff Done – Pop these in the oven and finish your dinner prep – no standing around flipping burgers!
- Flavorful Burger – we’re adding seasoning to the burger mixture to make them even better!

Ingredients for Sheet Pan Burgers
I like to mix a few yummies into my ground beef to make the burgers a little more flavorful but feel free to go old school with just salt & pepper! Here’s what I used:
- Ground beef – I recommend 90/10 or 85/15
- Worcestershire sauce – I love the salty savory flavor from this sauce and use it all the time in burger mixtures
- Salt & Black Pepper
- Onion powder – you could also use onion salt but then skip the regular salt
- Dried minced garlic – same here – you could use garlic salt but skip the regular salt
- Yellow Onion – we’re gonna mince these super tiny like on a White Castle!
- Land O’Lakes American cheese – by far the best American cheese – don’t use the plastic wrapped kind! Swap with Pepper Jack for a spicier cheeseburger!
- Hamburger buns
- Toppings: lettuce, pickles, tomatoes, ketchup, mustard

Recipe Variations
- Bacon – while the oven is on – make some bacon and add that to your burgers!
- Turkey Burgers – you could also use ground turkey for a healthier version of these sheet pan burgers. There will be less oil for sure!
- Double Decker – stack the burgers and make a 1/2 lb cheeseburger!
- Sliders – make indentations for smaller burgers and have a giant batch of sliders!

How to make Sheet Pan Burgers
Making Burgers on a Sheet Pan is great if you’re making for a crowd but don’t have or want to mess with the grill! You can make 8-10 burgers at once!
- Preheat oven to 375º
- In a large bowl, mix together ground beef, Worcestershire sauce, dried onion, salt, pepper and garlic.
- On a rimmed baking sheet, sprinkle out minced onion evenly.
- You can line the baking sheet with aluminum foil for easy cleanup if you like
- Press ground beef mixture in an even layer on top of onions over sheet pan.
- Using the edge of a spatula, press lines for 8 square burgers. You don’t need to cut all the way thru but just have the even impressions in the beef.
- Bake at 375º for 10-15 minutes until ground beef has reached internal temperature of 140º (for medium).
- Remove pan from oven and drain oil from sheet pan. Then, lay American cheese slices across top of each burger. Change oven to Broil – Low.
- Place sheet pan back in the oven for 1-2 minutes until cheese melts. Watch closely as broil goes quick.
- Remove from oven and serve burgers on buns with all of your favorite toppings!
