Weight Watchers Turkey Chili will convince you that eating healthy can be delicious! It’s chock full of ground turkey, beans, corn, tomatoes and more! You can also make this as spicy or mild as your crew wants it!

What I ❤️ about WW Turkey Chili
I’ve done Weight Watchers a few times and this turkey chili recipe is a go-to staple because it’s got great healthy veggies like onions, peppers, tomatoes plus fiber-filled beans and then the protein you need from ground turkey breast.
WW has changed their plans many times and they have a zero point food list and – depending on your plan – everything on this recipe is ZERO POINTS! Even if you’re on a plan where something is a couple points – it’s still very healthy and a great filling meal!
Weight Watchers Turkey Chili Ingredients
Chili tends to be one of those “dump all the cans together” but I added some fresh veggies for more texture. Here’s what you’ll need:
- 1 lb fat free ground turkey breast – the key to keeping this super low in points is using fat free turkey breast, you could also use ground chicken breast
- 1 yellow onion, diced (no peppers – here are some good substitutes for bell peppers!)
- 1 green pepper, diced
- Like it spicy? Add some hotter peppers with the green pepper!
- 1 can kidney beans drained, 15 oz
- You can also swap out Pinto Beans if you like
- 1 can black beans drained, 15 oz
- 1 can fire roasted diced tomatoes – try and get the fire roasted if possible – they taste so much better!
- 1 can diced green chiles, 4 oz
- 1 can tomato sauce, 8 oz
- 1 tbsp minced garlic
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1 tbsp ground cumin
- 1 pkg taco seasoning
- This has a lot of seasonings in it – so it’s a quick easy solution with a lot of flavor.
- If you want to make it hotter, feel free to add 2 tsp chili powder, 1 tsp cayenne pepper or a sprinkle of red pepper flakes.
- 1 can corn drained, 15 oz
How to make Weight Watchers Turkey Chili
It’s super easy to make – and takes just about 10 minutes to prep and then about 25 minutes to cook – so it’s perfect for a weeknight dinner. Plus you’l have leftovers for a couple of days for lunch!
- In a Dutch oven, brown ground turkey, onion and green pepper until cooked through
- Add taco seasoning, garlic and salt, stir until all meat is coated
- Add remaining ingredients and stir.
- Cook over medium heat, letting simmer for 15 minutes.
- OPTIONAL: Top with a dollop of plain Greek yogurt (healthier option than sour cream), cilantro and a squeeze of lime
Yes – you can freeze it! It’s a perfect dish to freeze so you’re not eating chili 4 days in a row! Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the fridge for up to a week. You can freeze up to three months. Reheat in the microwave for 1-2 minutes
That varies greatly depending on the ingredients but this Weight Watchers chili has 223 calories.
Yes – brown the ground turkey, onion and pepper and then add everything to the slow cooker. Cook on low for 2 hours.

Looks amazing! Definitely going to try this!
I can't wait to try this! Looks delicious!
How do you think I would go about making this in the crock pot?
I would just brown the meat/onion/pepper in a skillet and then throw all the ingredients in the crock pot on low for 4 hours. Thanks for checking it out!
Looks awesome, bit it's 7 points per serving for the green plan
How do you find how many points it is based on your color plan?
I did this based on the zero points list from the plan before the colors.
I was going off the last plan before they changed to "colors"
This is easy and delicious. I forgot to buy taco seasoning, so I substituted a packet of chili seasoning. I’m sure this doesn’t differ much from taco seasoning. Will definitely make this again!
Glad you liked it!!!! It’s so good!
We make the same thing but we ad chili 4 tbsp for better flavour, and I ad Tabasco sauce to mine 🙂
We use the insta pot, this is a great idea for those quick meals, I even take some for my lunch it’s a nice change from chicken breasts or sandwich’s
Agree! It’s yum and great for lunches!
Love the Turkey chili
Glad you like it!
Love this recipe. Very large four portions. I substituted white beans for the kidney beans and left out the green chilies since I don’t like overly spicey foods, and it was perfect. Easy prep and only one pot to wash!
I made this for dinner tonight. It was so good! I didn’t have any chiles so I just added a little chili powder and a little hot sauce. We also aren’t fans on kidney beans in this house so we just had the black beans in it. We loved it and will definitely be making it again!
Hooray!!! I love hearing that! It really is yum!
Very good and filling, and easy to make
Glad you liked it!
Does it really take a tablespoon of salt?
i like a lot of salt and there’s so many ingredients – it can take a lot for seasoning. that said – go with less to start if you like and then add more after you taste it!
So easy and very delicious, great recipe
Sooo good! I used a poblano pepper instead of green pepper, pinto instead of black beans because that’s what I had on hand and added some Chili powder to taste
