What You Will ❤️ About Air Fryer Cheesecake

  • Mini Desserts! I found these mini-springform pans that came with a circle and a heart shape which are perfect to fit in your air fryer.
  • Easy! I never knew cheesecake was this easy to make – and it’s fun to add your own twist like an Oreo crust!
  • Delicious! Of course – there’s not many cheesecakes I don’t like – and this was really tasty too!

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

Cheesecake Ingredients

Cheesecake is full of pantry staples and is really simple! Let’s gather our ingredients:

  • Crust
    • Oreos & Melted Butter – you can also sub out any chocolate cookies or graham cracker crumbs if you don’t want the cookie crust
  • Filling – this is a basic filling – you can add some of the Oreos to it – or just have it more plain & vanilla
    • Cream Cheese – I used full-fat but you can use the low-fat as well. Don’t use fat free unless you absolutely need to.
    • Sugar
    • Sour Cream
    • Vanilla (or Vanilla Extract)
    • Egg (room temperature)
  • Topping:
    • Whipped Cream – you can make your own or use canned – it’s just a light sweet topping for the finished cheese cake. If you want to make your own, you’ll need:
      • heavy cream, powdered sugar and vanilla
    • Fruit – Fresh fruit like strawberry or raspberries are a perfect topping for cheesecake. You could also top with something simple like cherry pie filling.

How do you make this air fryer cheesecake recipe?

I was so shocked at how easy it was to make cheesecake! Crust – Filling – Bake!

  1. CRUST:
    • Line pans with parchment paper on the bottom or a light coat of cooking spray
    • Crush Oreos and pour in a bowl – be sure to have some more finely chopped than others
    • Pour melted butter on crushed Oreos and press into bottom of 2 mini springform pans. You’ll have about 1/2 cup left over.
    • Place pans with crusts in air fryer basket for 4 min at 360º
  2. FILLING: you can use a stand mixer or a hand mixer
    • In a large bowl with a mixer, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until texture is smooth.
    • Add sour cream and vanilla and beat for about 1 minute
    • Add egg
    • Fold in remaining Oreos to cream cheese mixture
  3. BAKE: Pour filling mixture into springform pans and place back in air fryer for 12 min at 350
  4. CHILL: Remove and cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours

Can you make cheesecake in an air fryer?

Yes – definitely! Be sure your springform pan has enough room for you to maneuver it in and out of your air fryer. You’ll have to use pot holders after it is baked – so try the pan size before you fill it with the cheesecake batter.

How long does cheesecake need to cool in the fridge?

The cheesecake will be set up after three hours – probably a little quicker for these mini cheesecakes – but I just left them set up overnight.

How do you store leftover cheesecake?

Store leftover cheesecake in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. You can also place leftover cheesecake in the freezer for up to one month. Thaw in refrigerator overnight.

Ingredients

Crust

  • 14 Oreos
  • 2 tbsp butter melted

Filling

  • 1 8-oz brick cream cheese softened
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp sour cream
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • 1 egg room temp

Whipped Cream

Instructions

Crust

  • Line pans with parchment paper on the bottom or a light coat of cooking spray
  • Crush Oreos with a rolling pin – using a gallon ziploc is pretty easy. Keep some larger chunks. Pour out 1/2 cup of larger chunks and set aside for later.
    14 Oreos
  • Pound the rest of the Oreos to be more fine. Pour melted butter in ziploc bag. Zip bag and mush oreos with butter.
    2 tbsp butter
  • Split Oreo/Butter between two mini springform pans and press into bottom of pan.
  • Place pans with crusts in air fryer basket for 4 min at 360º

Filling

  • In a large bowl with a mixer, beat softened cream cheese and sugar until texture is smooth.
1 8-oz brick cream cheese, 3 tbsp sugar
  • Add sour cream and vanilla and mix for 1 minute more
2 tbsp sour cream, 1/2 tsp vanilla
  • Add egg and mix for 1 minute more
    1 egg
  • Fold in big chunks of Oreos that you set aside – be sure to fold in with a spatula – not the mixer
  • Pour filling mixture into springform pans

Bake

  • Place filled springform pans in air fryer basket and air fry for 12 min at 350º

Chill

  • Remove from air fryer and refrigerate for a minimum of 3 hours (or overnight is fine too)

Serve

  • To make whipped cream, beat cream, powdered sugar and vanilla with hand mixer for 5+ minutes until stiff peaks form
1/2 cup heavy cream, 2 tsp powdered sugar, 1/2 tsp vanilla

Notes

If making one regular sized cheesecake, double filling. For crust add 7 more oreos and 1 Tbsp additional butter.
