These Traeger Smoked Bacon Wrapped Oreos will satisfy any and all cravings! Sweet? Check! Savory? Check! Sometimes I’m just sitting around on a Saturday and think – I want bacon. And then I think – I want Oreos. Guess what – I want both – AT THE SAME TIME!
They’re easy peasy to make too – grab a pound of bacon and a package of Oreos. Wrap a slice around each cookie – DONE! Sprinkle some of your favorite BBQ rub on them and pop them on the Traeger (or the smoker of your choice). Smoke and eat!
How do you Smoke Bacon Wrapped Oreos?
This is so easy! In the time it takes your smoker to heat up to temp – you’re ready to go! Set your Traeger at 225 – you don’t need the pellets to be too full because you’re only smoking for 45 minutes.
While the Traeger is heating up – get your cookies out! Wrap a slice of bacon around each cookie. If you have center cut bacon, you’ll probably use one slice per cookie. I used regular and cut off about 1/3 of each piece. I saved them for BLTs. As you wrap it around the cookie – no need to hold it together – you’re not flipping the cookies – it will stay folded on top.
By this point, your smoker should be ready! Before we head out to the grill, sprinkle on your favorite BBQ rub or even baste with a light runny BBQ sauce. My favorites are Historic BBQ Red or Williamson Brothers sauce.
Then smoke on the grill for 45 minutes and your bacon-wrapped delights are ready!!
Why would you wrap Oreos in Bacon?
Because you’re awesome! Seriously – I took a poll and not everybody was behind it – but let me tell you – they are DELICIOUS!

Can the bacon Oreos be done in the oven?
FoodHussy says
Yes- they could for sure – they won’t have the smokey flavor but I would say about 20 minutes at 350 would be good!

what kind of wood chips would be the best? I dont have a tragger but I have a smoker
FoodHussy says
I would say apple – they’re fairly light but will still give a nice smoky flavor. But I tend to stick with the Traeger Signature Blend just to make it easy! 🙂

These turned out incredible. However, in you body of instructions you state to cook at 225°. Then list of instructions it states 250°. 225° will take longer but works. 250° is better! B-
