These Air Fryer Pizza Bites will be loved by kids and grown-ups alike at the dinner table. They’re fun to pull apart and discover what’s inside but also filling enough for the adults! These are filled to the brim with pizza sauce, pepperoni and lots of cheese!

What You Will ❤️ About Pizza Bites
- Customizable – I made these simple with just pepperoni and cheese – but add your favorite pizza toppings like bell peppers, mushrooms, cooked sausage, olives – or even go crazy with ham & pineapple!
- Homemade Pizza Rolls – the frozen kind are pretty great – but these are like homemade pizza rolls and they’re so much better!
- Appetizer or Dinner! Because these are handheld delights – you can have them as an appetizer for your game day party – or a weeknight dinner!

Pizza Bite Ingredients
You can get crazy and make a pizza bite filling bar if you like but I went super simple for these pizza bites with just pepperoni and cheese. Here’s what you need:
- Pizza dough – I like to buy the prepared dough ball which is usually in the freezer section of the grocery store. You could also use a boxed dough that you add water to or even crescent roll dough or biscuits (like I did with these Maid Rite Bites).
- Pizza sauce or Marinara Sauce – You’ll need about 1/2-3/4 cup – so it’s great if you have some leftover to use up
- Pepperoni – I used 4-5 slices per pizza bite – but you could use the mini pepperoni as well
- Mozzarella cheese – gotta have this! But feel free to use an Italian blend if you like
- Butter & Minced Garlic – I brushed the top with garlic butter and had some leftover for dipping!
- OPTIONAL: Italian Seasoning – feel free to sprinkle some inside if you like

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

Dipping Sauce Ideas
Go beyond the normal pizza sauce! Here are a few ideas for pizza bite dipping sauces:
- Ranch Dressing – I like to make my own and you could even make this Jalapeno Ranch!
- Melted Garlic Butter – use the leftover garlic butter to dip! Just melt butter, throw in some minced garlic and stir! Add a few red pepper flakes and parmesan cheese for more flavor and spice!
- Cheese – This Flourless Cheese Sauce is tasty and great for dipping!

How to make Air Fryer Pizza Bites
These are super easy to make and don’t be afraid to STRETCH that dough! Here’s how to do it:
- On cutting board, lightly dusted with corn meal (or flour), stretch out pizza dough to a fairly thin rectangle. Be sure your dough is ROOM TEMPERATURE!!! This helps it to stretch more easily.
- Slice into 8 squares and stretch each square a little more. If you get a hole – just pinch it together. No need for perfection!
- Spread 1 small spoonful of pizza sauce onto each square
- Lay out 4 slices pepperoni and a large pinch of cheese onto each square
- Pull dough sides up and pinch sides together and lightly pat into a ball
- In a microwave safe dish, add butter and minced garlic. Microwave for 30 seconds until melted.
- Line air fryer with parchment paper and lay pizza bites in a single layer in the air fryer basket. You want a little space between each one so depending on the size of your air fryer you may need to cook them in batches. Brush tops with melted garlic butter and reserve the rest for dipping!
- Air fry at 350º for 6 minutes until bites are golden brown. Sprinkle the top with Parmesan cheese and red pepper flakes.

Tips, Tricks & FAQs
Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 250º for 6-7 minutes. I recommend cutting them in half before reheating.
Yup – all works the same!
