Ingredients for Bacon Wrapped Hot Dogs Recipe
Simple ingredients here – just grab those hotdogs and some bacon! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Hot dogs – my favorite brands are Nathans & Hebrew National – how about you?
- Bacon – Be sure to get regular cut slices bacon – not thick cut bacon
- Hot dog buns – I love those top sliced buns!
- Favorite Toppings – Ketchup, Mustard, Relish, Onions, BBQ sauce

How to Make Air Fryer Bacon Wrapped HotDogs
These are super easy to make and the bacon easily hangs on to the hot dog so no toothpicks are needed. Here’s what you’ll do:
- PREP: Take a strips of bacon and wrap diagonally around each hot dog and repeat with remaining hot dogs
- AIR FRY: Place bacon-wrapped hot dogs in the air fryer basket. Air fry at 360º for 12 minutes, turning hot dogs halfway thru
- Hot Dogs on their own only take 6 minutes but you need the extra time to get the crispness on the bacon!
- Add a sheet of parchment paper before you put in the hot dogs for even easier cleanup.
- TOAST: Add hot dog buns, opening slightly and lay on top of hot dogs and air fry 1 min longer.
- Using tongs, remove buns from air fryer and place each hot dog in a bun
- SERVE: Top with favorite hot dog toppings and serve

Yes – but the turkey bacon doesn’t have the fat that traditional pork bacon. It won’t hold onto the hot dogs as much – but it will still cook up delicious!
Yes! Pop them on a baking sheet and bake at 375º for 20 minutes.
Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass storage ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 300º for 4 minutes.
