What You Will ❤️ About Chicken Bacon Ranch
- Rotisserie Chicken – it’s a great use of leftover rotisserie chicken – I used 2-2.5 cups of shredded chicken which was about 1/2 a chicken
- Easy – sliders are so easy to make – it’s just layering ingredients and quickly cooking to melt the cheese!
- Potluck Friendly – if you’re getting together with friends for game day, sliders are a great mini-sandwich so you still have room for Buffalo Chicken Dip!

Chicken Bacon Ranch Slider Ingredients
Seven simple ingredients and you can flex to what is in your fridge! Here’s what you’ll need:
- Shredded Chicken – you can poach chicken breasts, do the whole chicken in a crock pot or use canned chicken or a rotisserie chicken (I love the dark meat from chicken thighs)
- Ranch Dressing – I’m picky on my ranch and think the best flavor comes when I make my own with Hidden Valley seasoning, buttermilk & Duke’s mayo
- Bacon – 6 strips bacon – I like thick cut – fried and then crumbled!
- Mild or Sharp Cheddar Cheese – any cheese you like – colby jack, swiss, pepper jack cheese
- Slider Buns – I used the pretzel bun sliders but Hawaiian rolls are great too. The Pretzel Buns have none of the sweet flavor that the regular Hawaiian rolls do.
- Butter
- Garlic Powder

Chicken Slider Variations
Sliders are so delicious but you can enjoy them in may different ways. Here are some ideas for Chicken Sliders:
- Ham – add Ham & use Swiss for a play on chicken cordon bleu
- Chicken Philly – swap out mozzarella, onions & peppers for a philly style slider
- Chicken Parm – swap out mozzarella, marinara and Parmesan cheese for an Italian delight
- Chicken Salad – swap out chicken salad for a chicken salad melt slider

How to make Chicken Bacon Ranch Sliders
Such an easy recipe! Let the kids get involved with spreading out the layers! Here’s how to make them:
- In a mixing bowl, combine the chicken and Ranch dressing. Stir until combined.
- Grease an 8×8 baking pan and place the bottom half of the pretzel sliders into pan.
- Spread chicken mixture evenly on top of the bread.
- Sprinkle the cheese and bacon evenly on top of the chicken.
- Place the top half of the buns on top of the cheese to create a sandwich.
- In a small bowl, combine the melted butter with the garlic powder.
- Using a pastry brush, brush garlic butter on the top of the bread, coating it entirely.
- Place pan into preheated oven, 350 degrees and bake for about 15 minutes.
