How to Make Air Fryer Chicken Fries
My tip for air frying frozen foods is to look at the instructions on the package and do same temperature and start with half the cooking time. Then add 1-2 min more if you need to. You can always add time – but you can’t UNBURN something.
- Remove Tyson Chicken Fries from the freezer
- Place 28 chicken fries into the air fryer basket in a single layer. Cook chicken fries at 400º for 10 minutes, flipping chicken halfway through the cooking process.
- Take out those crispy chicken fries and serve while hot.

Can you make your own chicken fries?
Yes definitely! I made Buffalo Chicken Fries from scratch. It’s pretty simple, slice your chicken strips thin – about the size of french fries. Dredge them in wing sauce (or hot sauce) and panko breadcrumbs and then air fry.

With frozen foods like these, I always recommend trying to make just what you’ll eat. But if you do have leftovers, store in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for 2-3 days. Reheat in the air fryer for 3-4 minutes.
Of course – here are the details and sauce ideas for air fryer chicken nuggets. Wanting to make chicken tenders? They’ll take a few minutes more because they’re bigger and thicker.
