Reheating sandwiches in the air fryer is a simple and easy way to bring the flavor back to life! The air fryer is the best appliance for reheating that you can own!

What You Will ❤️ About Reheating Sandwiches in the Air Fryer
- Melty – The air fryer brings that melted cheese goodness inside your hot sandwich back to life!
- Toasty – That same air fryer gives the outside of your bread that crispiness you love when it’s fresh. Now – you’ve got a toasted outside to go with that melty inside!
- Taste – Being able to enjoy the fresh taste of a sandwich on day 2 is so great! Sometimes I would eat the whole sandwich because there was no good option for reheating – NOT ANY MORE!

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

What is the best way to Reheat Sandwiches?
- The air fryer reheats leftover sandwiches the best – of course!! The hot air circulates around the food to make sure everything is cooking evenly.
- TIP #1: If your sandwich has lettuce, remove the lettuce. You will likely want to use fresh lettuce after you remove the sandwich from the air fryer because the texture of heated lettuce is not good.
- TIP #2: You may also want to freshen up the condiments like mayonnaise and ketchup after removing from the air fryer.
- TIP #3: If your bread is very light – you might want to use toothpicks to secure the sandwich together and it doesn’t blow around in the air fryer.
- Microwave – If using the microwave, open the sandwich and place the filling on a microwave-safe plate. Reheat that for 1 minute. Then, open the microwave and put the filling back on the bread and microwave for 20-30 seconds depending on the size of your bread.
- Stovetop – If you have a panini or grilled cheese sandwich, place a pat of butter in a skillet and melt over medium heat. Then add your sandwich and re-grill for 2-3 minutes per side.
- Oven – Place sandwiches on a baking sheet. Bake pan with sandwiches in a preheated oven for 20 minutes.
