What You Will ❤️ About Air Fryer Pork Chops

- Quick! It’s a 10 minute dinner – thin cut pork chops cook quickly so it’s perfect for a weeknight meal.
- Affordable! I found a great deal on a large pack of these thinner cut chops. I portioned them out into freezer bags so I had multiple meals ready to go.

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

Air Fryer Pork Chops Ingredients
This pork chop recipe is so simple because you only need two ingredients. Cooking them is just as simple – but here’s what you’ll need:
- Pork Chops – thin bone-in pork chops are what we used here – but any size of pork chop is delicious in the air fryer. The bone-in chops are a little more forgiving than boneless. They tend to stay juicier so I prefer them.
- Seasoning – I used Texas Roadhouse Steak Seasoning but you can use your own combination of spices.
- Here’s a few seasonings that go well together on pork: paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, kosher salt & black pepper. Mix together in a small bowl and sprinkle the mixture just as you would the steak seasoning.

How to Air Fry Thin Pork Chops
This pork chop recipe cannot get any simpler! The air fryer does all the work for you and you end up with perfectly juicy and tender chops every time.
- Coat all sides of pork chops with seasoning – don’t miss the sides of the pork chops!
- Place pork chops into the air fryer basket. No olive oil needed here – pork chops have natural fat and juices!
- Air fry at 350º for 10 minutes, flipping halfway thru. If using boneless pork chops – you’ll want to check them at 8 minutes as they’ll cook more quickly.
- Check internal temperature of the cooked pork chops with a meat thermometer and be sure it’s 145º. If not – add 1-2 minutes. Don’t overcook your chops – you’ll lose that delicious flavor!
- Garnish with a sprinkle of parmesan cheese or a little BBQ sauce for dipping. Serve with a side of vegetables and pasta for a complete and delicious meal.

Best Air Fryer Accessories
Here’s my ultimate list of best air fryer accessories – whether you have a basket- or oven-style! I’ve also included a price guide as well as my favorite recipes for those accessories.

What is the best pork chop to use in the air fryer?
I love bone-in pork chops because they hold the juices in better than a boneless – but any pork will do. When you get those variety packs of pork chops – they usually contain rib chops and loin chops. Loin chops look more like a boneless pork chop but with a bone. The rib chops are usually larger with a more oval shape and a bone in the middle. They’re also even more forgiving and very tender!
Can you do breaded pork chops in the air fryer?
Definitely! I have this recipe for Breaded Pork Tenderloin Sandwiches – you can use panko or regular breadcrumbs for a crispy coating!
What temperature do you air fry thin pork chops?
I like to air fry most things at 350º – the pork chops will still cook quickly and not dry out.
Can pork chops be 145º?
Yes!!!! This is something I preach to everyone! Pork is best served at 145º with a blush of pink. We have no worries like our grandparents did of medium rare pork causing illness. And – if you’ve ever said you didn’t like pork because it was DRY – it was overcooked!!!! Your meat thermometer is your best friend here!
How do you store and reheat leftovers?
Store leftover pork chops in an airtight container (I like these glass storage ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 250º for 4-5 minutes or microwave for 2 minutes.
