Mini Blackberry Cobbler
Mini Blackberry Cobbler is my new favorite dessert! They go together in 10 minutes and then you and each family member get their very own dessert! Top with ice cream or whipped cream or just enjoy on their own. These are also great if you’re looking for a special occasion dessert!

❤️ WHY YOU’LL LOVE THIS COBBLER
So I got the idea for this when I was in Los Angeles – I’m a big fan of Vanderpump Rules and went to SUR (IYKYK) and they have this famous blackberry cobbler and it was soooo good! So I came home and made my own! You’ll love it because:
- EASY – Juicy blackberries topped with a quick cobbler topping – can’t get much easier.
- CRUNCHY – The topping is sooooo good! I added more oats and that was the trick plus a sprinkle of melted butter to bring it all together.
- MINI DESSERTS – Who doesn’t love something mini?! It’s actually really handy because then everybody has their own dessert at dinner!

Blackberry Cobbler Ingredients
Cobbler is such an easy dessert – throw some fruit in the bottom of a dish and plop stuff on top. Boom Done. Here’s what you’ll need for these mini desserts:
- Fresh blackberries – you could use frozen as well – or even swap out blueberries or raspberries or use a mix of berries. If frozen, berries should be slightly thawed.
- Sugar – you can use sugar substitutes if you like or even brown sugar
- Lemon juice – fresh is preferred but bottled will work
- Cornstarch – this helps the coating stick to the berries
- Cobbler Topping – all purpose flour, brown sugar, oats, coarse sea salt, butter
- It doesn’t really matter what variety of any of these you use – so feel free to use other types of flour, etc.

How to make Individual Mini Cobblers
I love making mini desserts – it just seems so much more manageable than a whole cake or pie! I’ve made a few mini recipes (donut bread pudding, peach bread pudding, pound cakes & lava cakes) – but this was my first mini blackberry cobbler recipe! It’s a little different than my magic cobbler but just as good! Here’s how to make them:
- TOSS fresh berries, sugar, lemon juice and cornstarch in a bowl, then divide among four 8-oz. ramekins. (spray with nonstick coating)
- WHISK together flour, brown sugar, oats and salt in a medium bowl. Incorporate stick of butter using a pastry blender, fork or fingers until mixture appears sandy and crumbles with a few pea-size clumps. Distribute crumbly topping evenly over blackberries.
- MELT 2 tbsp butter and drizzle over top of cobbler topping.
- BAKE in 375º oven until golden brown, 25 to 30 minutes. Remove from oven, top each ramekin with a small scoop of ice cream and serve immediately.
