What You Will ❤️ About Air Fryer Crispy Crowns
- Super Quick Snack! No preheating here – just toss them in and go!
- No Deep Fryer! Deep fryers are messy and have so many worthless calories – the air fryer gets these potato puffs just as crispy!
- Hot & Crispy with No Oil! You will love how crunchy these crowns are with no extra oil in sight!

This recipe was made using the Paula Deen Air Fryer.

What ingredients do you need to make Crispy Crowns?
Well – you just need Crispy Crowns!!! A big ol’ bag of them and your air fryer – plus I like some seasoning and/or salt. You can also use the Ore-Ida Tater Tots – they cook in the same time.

What can you do with Crispy Crowns?
Basically Crispy Crowns are flat tater tots or round french fries – so anything you can do with tots – you can do with crowns!
If you’re just looking for a yummy seasoning – be sure to try my Taco Johns Potato Ole Seasoning! It’s been a favorite of mine for years. It’s a little sweet and a little spicy – I love the taste!
Here are some of my favorite uses for crowns/tots – not all of them require the air fryer – but just to give you more ideas!
You can also load them up like you would nachos with shredded cheese, jalapenos, sour cream and more! I like throwing bacon on mine too!

Tips, Tricks & FAQs
Store leftovers in an airtight container (I like these glass ones) in the refrigerator for up to a week. Reheat in the air fryer at 300º for 3-4 minutes.
Nope – just throw them in right out of the freezer!
Yes – of course! Hash browns take about 10 minutes and fries take 10-12 min depending on if they’re thin or thick fries.
Nah – it doesn’t matter the brand – it’s more about the size of your air fryer and how many crowns you’re putting in.
